Online Marriage Application

To apply for a marriage license:
1. Each party must be at least 18 years old.

  • If 17 years old, you must have parental consent. A parent/guradian must accompany the applicant to the Auditor's office to apply for the marriage license.

  • If 16 years old or younger, consent of parent/legal guardian and waiver from Juvenile Court is required to apply for a marriage license. (Juvenile Court Phone (360) 337-5401).

    • 2. 3 DAY WAITING PERIOD: The license must be purchased at the Auditor's office at least 3 days before the marriage ceremony.
    3. The license is good for 60 days anywhere in the State of Washington.

    After completion of the online application:
    1. Both parties must appear in person together at the Kitsap County Auditor's Office to purchase the marriage license.
    2. The Marriage License fee is $72.00
